A SOUL SAVED DURING THE MEDICAL MISSION GOES TO BE WITH THE LORD

It was about 3:25pm today when we received a call from pastor Charles the lead pastor of Kasozi community church in Namutumba District. His church is one of  the churches we partner with and has hosted 3 Medical Missions since 2013. Its the same church that hosted us for the December 2015 medical Mission.

He asked if we still remembered the lady we had referred to Iganga Regional Referral Hospital.
There was no way we could have forgotten her. She was one of the 10 people who had given their lives to Christ during the mission, looked very ill and severely anemic. Because of her condition she was the first person that we attended to on the second day of the mission. Her condition caused a meeting with the church ministers, the few community leaders who were available and his old sick father to come up with ideas of who would take care of her in the hospital where she had been referred for proper management.

Beneleta had gone to be with the Lord. She was 31 years old and expecting her third child.
Ever since she got sick, she had never had an opportunity to see a doctor. Her family had neglected her because she got married to a man they did not like, only her sick old father was available but too weak to help.

When Beneleta had about the medical mission she asked a neighbor who brought her to us. We did what we could to get her to the hospital for treatment but unfortunately she passed on.
We are grateful to God that her soul was saved and she is now with our father in heaven.

Thank you for supporting Medical Missions through your prayers and giving. Through them we have seen God saving lives and thousands have been touched.
This year we are having two Medical Missions in different communities and praying that God will enable us to start static clinics in Mityana District. Our desire is that they will operate once every month and we trust God that with time they will grow into permanent health centers.
We ask you to consider a life saving gift Today to enable us reach out to more people with life threatening conditions and to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.

THE GENEROSITY OF THE NEEDY

We have read many stories of how the needy are struggling to live and most of them have been very hard to believe.
"How can some one live on less than $1 a day?", ''How can a pregnant mother walk a distance of over 10 kilometers moreover carrying 5.2 gallons of water on her head and still live on one meal a day?"

Because God has blessed us, we find it even harder to believe what we read, hear or see. However these voices tend to become so loud that we appreciate God's goodness to us and also ask our selves why these voices are so loud in our ears specifically.

God makes voices of the speechless so audible to specific people he has chosen to bring hope to the hopeless.
God has allowed us as a ministry to clearly hear the voices of the needy people in ureached communities and we have chosen to empower them to break the cycle of poor health and poverty in their communities. Because God has revealed to us through his word the goodness of giving and how it is more blessed to give than to receive, We believe that giving is an opportunity that should be embraced by even those in need to tap into God's blessings.
This past Saturday on 19th we were amazed by the way people gave towards the building of New Hope Church in Mityana which is our ministry area.
We saw our mission put in action when people from different families, christian and non christian, the young and the old getting the best from their gardens to be sold to raise money for the church construction. People brought cassava, Matooke, Sweet potatoes, Corn and other types of foods.

This is want they could afford and they gave generously to support the work of the Lord. It was really beautiful that by the end of the exercise we had managed to raise money enough to buy 6 iron sheets. We give the glory to God.
It was an opportunity to preach the gospel to the community and also to communicate to them that we are organizing an overnight prayer on 31st December to launch into the new year in God's presence. This will be the first one of its kind. In the previous years people would get into the new year drinking and doing many other un-Godly acts. We are excited that its going to be different this year and also believe that many will give their lives to Christ.

You know the challenges these people are facing and how your support has done a lot to bring hope in this community. We still need your support to give this community access to Clean and safe water, health care and to train Rural Health Evangelists. We ask that you will consider supporting us through your Giving. You can also Sponsor a Child with a monthly support of $30 and the good Lord will bless you.
