A NEW JOURNEY FOR THE 7

Its never too late for God to save and his grace is always sufficient. 31st May was our second Sunday in the new church, 7 people were saved and 3 people recommitted their lives to Christ, we give the glory back to God.
In our previous post we shared our testimony of how our house Fellowship grew to  New Hope Church in Mityana District in the Village of Kibogo.
Today we are grateful to God to be sharing with you some of the updates of our new church and also to ask for your prayers and support.

After the 24th May Sunday service the members had a meeting to get ready for the week's task of clearing and slashing the bush to start on the temporary structure of the new church. It was indeed a great work and we are thankful to God.

The temporary structure that we set can accommodate about 150 people but the chairs that we had from the fellowship were only enough for about 40 people and so some other people including the children had to seat down on mats. We had 63 members (26 Adults and 37 children).

We were amazed at the turn up and humbled by the testimonies shared. Some of the testimonies we had were from our children thanking God for their sponsors and others from the elderly people thanking God for bringing a church in their village and in a walkable distance.

After the service we had a meeting with the church ministers to come up with the church program and ways of getting members involved in raising funds for the church construction and also get more chairs for the members.

Keep praying for Pastor Tom and his wife as they lead this church and also for God's provision. Our currents needs are Iron sheets, Chairs and Drums. We believe in prayer and we know all things are possible with our God.
